Sydney's Dance Recital

Sydney has her first dance recital with Lonnie's company...Sisters Dance Academy. I was lucky enough to do the program cover for it. Just thought I would share!

Lacrosse, visitors, and Rhody Weekend

I am tardy with this post. Last weekend the boys had a Lacrosse tournament and played 3 games. It was a tough day. The first game of the day was only the second game the team had ever played, so they pretty much got smashed. The second was a little better, and the third game was great. Tyler & Tanner were really on fire and fun to watch. It was like they finally got the hang of it. Such a fun game! Brett & Julia came that weekend too. It was so fun to have them here! They made a killer dinner for me on Mother's Day too! You guys rock!

This weekend we went down to Rhody days in Florence. It was beautiful! 75/80 degree weather with a little wind to cool us off. Everything was bigger and better this year. The car show was huge, the parade was long (too long) and the Harley's lined Bay street again. Tons of fun! I love Rhody weekend! A lot of the Head clan did the Rhody run too. For some of us, it was our very first time! Nyle got first in his age bracket!

Here is the group at the parade...getting sunburnt!
This was the only picture we got of the parade (I put Nyle in charge).

Sydney on the Spinner ride...she had a perma-grin!

The boys did the Fireball. It goes upside down and backwards. I thought they were awfully brave!

See Tanner holding on for dear life?

They all did the Ferris Wheel

One of my favorite cars!

The Harley Rick rented for the weekend. I got a ride on it...CRAZY! I'm glad I did it, but I was pretty scared when he went faster than 30. I know, I'm a chicken. It was fun to drive down Bay Street when everyone was out.

We went to the beach too.

The boys at the beach digging for crabs. They found a lot!

They played in the water and rolled in the sand! Crazy boys!

Sydney searched for seashells and let the waves chase her

The coastline. It was beautiful!

Vonnie and the boys

For those of you who have seen Curt and Vonnie's house, check this out! Look at the makeover it got! Isn't it amazing! It doesn't even look like the same house!

Fun Stuff!

Last Thursday, the boys had a 4th grade music performance. Tyler and Tanner danced and sang...can you believe it?! Tanner learned to swing dance and had to dance with a boy because all the girls in his class wouldn't dance with boys! It was funny to see boys doing the swing together. Tyler did a more freeform dance and constantly put himself in the back so that he wouldn't be seen. He did do a little stunt though with a friend standing on his knee. It was cute. A couple moms and I got to paint the backdrop. Here are some pictures of that night.

Syd and Olivia had to get in on it too. Tanner, Kade and Tyler

Happy Mother's Day!

All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.

Come on Baby!

I have the coolest cousins on the planet! Unfortunately, we are all spread out across several states. I am lucky enough to have one (Julia) live here in the same state, so we get to see each other occasionally and I love it.

Julia, Sydney and Me...on our trip to Utah

Brett and Julia are some of my very favorite people. They have been married for six years and they want to start their family now. Unfortunately, it hasn't happened like they planned. They are trying to adopt a baby (or several) at this time and want me to spread the word. So, anybody who sees this blog please take note and remember these awesome future parents.

Brett, Julia & Syd on top of the mountain

They are amazing! My kids adore them and always ask when they are coming back to visit. I couldn't dream of two people that would be better at being parents. Brett is fun-loving and goes out of his way to talk to everyone. My whole town knows him and he doesn't even live here! Julia is soft-spoken, sweet and patient. We love them and hope that someone blesses them with a baby soon!
