Springtime!

It's finally Spring here! That means its time to get the bikes out and the festivals in town begin! Check out this bike! It is actually Tracy's, but Sydney loves it!
Here is the most recent paint job I've done...butterflys in the Metamorphosis salon!

This is the beginnning of the "My Own two Hands" event. The kids had all created something to wear in the parade. Pretty cute!

Sydney & her head-dress

Tanner and a mask that he didn't make. He made a fish banner that I carried because he didn't want to walk with the kindergardeners who also made fish banners!?

Syd and some friends

Tyler & his class singing...he is in the back with the green shirt (not looking at the camera)

Mr. Warburton, Jonathon & Jacob and Tanner
Tyler avoided the camera very well that day!

My Dad

My dad is the coolest man on the planet and today is his birthday.
Dad, I just want you to know how much I love you! You have been and always will be the voice of reason I turn to when I need advice.
You are brave. You aren't afraid to have dreams and make them happen, otherwise, I wouldn't live in Oregon today.
You are fun! I laugh more with you than almost anyone (except Beth:). We always had fun on the boat even when nobody else wanted to even touch the water! Let's get out there again this year.
You are loving, optimistic, happy, and an amazing father. I look up to you in so many ways!
Thanks for being you! Happy Birthday!

What Easter means to Me

I heard about this video and finally saw it today. It's too good not to share even though Easter was Sunday.

Easter

I am a slacker compared to some of you mothers out there. I did not take a pre-church shot on Easter with everyone looking good...I was lucky to be to church on time! Oh well. You'll just have to trust me- everyone looked great.

We had a great Easer all in all. Church was awesome and we had lots of yummy food and time spent with friends. Hope you had a great day too!

We went to the annual town easter egg hunt in the park in the afternoon. The kids love to race for all the eggs, and I say race, because they are not very hard to find. Here are some pictures...

Tyler, Jonathon and Tanner (they aren't even looking at me!)
Great shot, eh?

Sydney and the Easter Bunny

At least Syd poses for me!

Ethan & Spencer Morgan joined us for the hunt too. This is the best smile I could get out of Ethan!

Spencer just had his eyes on the prize!

Spring Break in Phoenix

The pictures say it all...and there are a lot of them. Our trip was awesome! We loved every minute of our time with everyone! It was hard to leave the amazing, warm weather and our family behind. We look forward to coming again.

The trip cannot be complete without a stop at "Famous Dave's" Barbeque restaurant.

Grace & Sydney...inseperable again.

The boys and Paige

We went to the train museum too. Strange little place, but fun. We even got a ride on a miniature train.

We went to the Grand Canyon...spectacular views!

This was as close to the edge as Beth got. She is the smiley one in the gray sweatshirt.

Grandpa & the girls

Lots of family picture moments!

Mom & Dad

Tyler & Nyle with a scarey, mile deep canyon behind them!

A Hopi Indian house at the top of the canyon (really just a gift shop)

Time at the park with Camden & Cooper

Chris & Cassie...we are so glad you came! It was great to spend time with you and your darling boys, even when it is Cumden!

Grandma and some grandkids!

We even went to a spring training game and watched Griffey Jr. hit a home run. Cool!

Nyle ate it up! Paige wanted snacks the whole time, but hung in there until the very end when she had a crash into a wall! Ouch! She even had to make a trip to the emergency room.

We went to Cabela's too! What a cool store!

They even have a huge aquarium and being the tourists that we are, we took some pictures!

Here is a shot of Paige after her crash, poor thing!
We got some fun pool time in on a couple days too. Tanner was really in time out in this picture for kicking his sister in the stomach, but he seems to be enjoying it.

Syd, Gracie & Tyler

Goodbye Arizona! We will be back next Spring Break, hopefully!
